ShipStation Integration for Pledge Manager
We’ve launched a direct integration with ShipStation, making it easier to manage fulfillment without the manual work.
If you’re using Pledge Manager, orders can now flow straight into ShipStation, and tracking details flow back to Kickstarter automatically. No more exporting spreadsheets or copying tracking numbers by hand.
Why we built this
Fulfillment is one of the most time-intensive parts of running a campaign, especially for creators managing large volumes of orders, add-ons, or staggered shipments over time.
Until now, that often meant:
- Exporting backer data and uploading it into ShipStation
- Manually sending tracking info back to backers
This integration removes those steps, helping reduce errors and save time as your project scales.
What this enables
- Automatic order sync: Finalized Pledge Manager orders, including address updates and refunds, sync directly to ShipStation
- Automatic tracking updates: As soon as an order ships, tracking info is sent back to Kickstarter
- Backer visibility: Backers receive tracking notifications and can view updates directly in their project dashboard
- Team flexibility: You can grant collaborators access to manage the integration, so fulfillment doesn’t sit with just one person
Who it’s for
This integration is available to creators with an active Pledge Manager and a ShipStation account (Gold tier or above).
It’s especially useful for projects with more complex fulfillment needs—like multiple reward tiers, add-ons, or phased delivery.
Getting started
You can connect ShipStation in just a few steps from your Pledge Manager overview page. Once connected, orders will begin syncing automatically.
You’ll also have the option to pause, resume, or disconnect the integration at any time.
This update is all about reducing operational lift, so you can spend less time managing spreadsheets and more time delivering for your backers.
