If configured by the creator, backers can now make changes to their orders after submitting a Pledge Manager, including purchasing new add-ons and answering survey questions about those add-ons.
Creators can control how long backers can make these changes from the Settings tab in Pledge Manager. They can:
- Choose whether backers can add new add-ons after submitting their order
- Set an end date for the order editing period or close it manually
- Choose whether backers can edit their survey responses
These settings are available for both new and already launched Pledge Managers, giving creators more flexibility to manage the post-campaign ordering experience.
This update makes it easier for backers to add to or update their orders when their needs change, while giving creators control over when and how order editing is available.
More order editing improvements are on the way, including expanded options for creator-initiated upgrades and downgrades, as well as backer-initiated upgrades
