Secret Add-Ons are now live on Kickstarter.
This makes it easy to share a freebie or bonus with a specific group, like your followers. You create the add-on, share a private link, and backers can add it directly to their pledge.
And coming very soon, you’ll have two new ways to share Secret Add-Ons with the right audience:
- Message followers during a live campaign: send targeted project updates (and keep them off the public campaign page) so only the intended audience can see and access the Secret Add-On.
- Segment by backer type in your backer report: filter audiences like pre-launch followers, campaign followers, first-time backers, and repeat backers to tailor your messaging and add-on strategy to each group.
Together, these unlock more intentional, targeted ways to reward supporters, built directly into the campaign experience.
