Creators can now give collaborators access to read and respond to backer direct messages, making it easier for teams to manage community communication together.
How it works
Collaborators can access direct messages through two permission sets:
- Manage community: Gives collaborators access to the project’s messaging inbox, including the ability to view and reply to direct messages.
- Coordinate fulfillment: Gives collaborators access to the backer report, including the Messages tab in a backer’s details.
Manage backer messages together
Creators and collaborators share a single project inbox and can see messages sent by other team members. On the backer side, messages clearly show which team member is responding, with each participant’s name and avatar displayed in the inbox and side panel.
This update makes it easier for teams to share community management while keeping backer conversations connected to the project.
