We’ve added new subcategories to Kickstarter’s Discover filters to help backers find projects that match their interests more easily, and help creators connect with the right audiences.
What's new
The following subcategories are now available across Games and Publishing:
- TTRP (Tabletop roleplaying game)
- STL (Standard file format)
- Audiobooks
Where you'll see them
- Discover page filters
- Top navigation (when selected as a project’s primary subcategory)
What's next
Creators will soon be able to select these subcategories both while building a campaign and after launch. We’ll also be working with creators to help categorize existing projects in these spaces so backers can discover them more easily.
These updates are part of our ongoing efforts to improve discoverability across Kickstarter and help connect projects with the communities most likely to support them.
