You can now upload and distribute digital files directly through Kickstarter—no third-party tools required.

With this update, digital rewards are tied to specific items in your Pledge Manager and delivered automatically to the right backers.

Managing digital fulfillment often meant juggling external platforms, manual sends, or extra steps after your campaign.

Now, you can handle everything in one place—making it easier to deliver files quickly and keep your rewards organized.

How it works

• Upload files to your rewards
  Attach digital files to specific items or SKUs in your Pledge Manager
• Automatic or manual delivery: Files can be sent automatically when a backer completes the Pledge Manager, or manually when you’re ready
• Backer access: Backers receive an email notification and can download their files directly from their Backing Details page

What you can upload

Supported file types include: PDF, ePub, MP3, MP4, PNG, JPG, ZIP, and STL

Each project includes up to 1 GB of storage (with exceptions available upon request).

Stay flexible

• Replace files at any time - backers will automatically receive access to the updated version
• Backers can access their files for up to two years from the date of distribution
