Smarter Search & Discovery

Finding projects you care about should be simple. We've updated Kickstarter's search and discovery experience to make it easier to browse, refine results, and find projects that match your interests.

Find relevant projects faster

We've redesigned search filters to give you more control over the projects you see.

You can now:

• Select multiple filters at the same time to narrow results across categories, themes, and project attributes
• Filter projects using ranges where available
• Find projects in your community by searching for projects in your town, region, or country
• See available filters more clearly in an updated interface

Live projects first

When you visit Discover or perform a search, you'll now see active opportunities to support by default.

Results prioritize:

1. Live projects
2. Late Pledges
3. Upcoming projects

Completed campaigns are still available through filtering, but are no longer included by default. This helps surface projects you can back right now and makes it easier to discover new projects as they're launching.

A more intuitive discovery experience

These updates are designed to make exploring Kickstarter feel more familiar, flexible, and efficient. Whether you're browsing across multiple categories, searching for a specific type of project, or discovering something new, you'll have more tools to find projects that match your interests.
